Pattaya is a
bustling city as far as traffic is
concerned, what makes sense
on roads all over the world, doesn't here!
As the bar is situated in the heart of North
Pattaya, walking to all local amenities is
no problem. We are 50 metres from the local
supermarket and shopping center and all your
fast food requirements such as Mc Donalds',
Pizza Hut and KFC. Thai food vendors are in
abundance as is the North Pattaya Nightlife.
200 metres down the street you will come to
Pattaya beach where you can lap up the sun
over a beer or seven. |
Songtaews or baht bus
taxis are the transportation should you want
to travel to South Pattaya, Jomtien or
Naklua. The trip would cost 10 baht (15p). Its as
simple as flagging one of the thousand taxis
down, jumping on the back to your
destination, ring the bell and pay the
driver. Job done. Should you wish to go to a
specific destination then a price would be
negotiable with the driver, always take
advice, where possible, before alighting.
For further afield trips such as golfing,
zoo trips, and visiting north of Bangkok to
Korat then a private taxi or minibus would
be a comfortable and quick way of travelling. |

The local bus station is a stones' throw
away from Chaplins. From here
you can travel as far north as you want and
direct to Bangkok at very cheap prices.
Motorbike taxis are a quick and cheap
way to get you direct to your port of call,
although a pacemaker and a change of
underwear at the other end may be required
following this journey. They are not for the
fainthearted although "chah chah" ( slowly,slowly ) will raise a knowing smile
from your budding Valentino Rossi, and he may
take the road a bit slower. But for 30 baht
they are good value. For those going to
Phuket, Koh Samui or some destinations up
North, you can fly from Pattayas' local
airport U-Tapao. Prices are cheap and we are
happy to recommend our local travel agent to
you to arrange your flight details. All in
all there should be no problem covering the
local area and all
